Tita 11th March 2014

Uncle Tunde, I still cannot believe how suddenly you have left us to be with the Lord. You always made sure to keep in touch and surprise me with unexpected phone calls, asking about my well being and wondering how school was going and even on my birthdays always sending birthday messages. I remember a few years back when you made the Apampa family website, trying to find a way for everyone to keep in touch in one place even though we were all scattered around. “Apampa Family of Egbaland” it read at the homepage, oh boy was I proud to have such a cool uncle even my friends at secondary school loved the site as well. I’ll never forget my last visit to Lagos in January of 2013 and how I did not want to end my vacation without visiting your place and seeing you, Steven, Tola and Aunty Becky. I sat beside you the entire evening laughing, smiling, taking pictures and eating away the ferrero rocher you offered us. Thanks for being ever so humble, funny and fun to be around. Thank you also for being an amazing uncle for as long as I can remember and also for allowing me experience my first time playing a Nintendo 64 and first time using a massage chair. I'll never forget you and you continually and forever are in my heart. Till we meet to part no more in eternal glory, soar with the angels and rest in heavenly bliss. Always & Forever Omotayo Apampa (Tita(matic))
