Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Mathew 5:4) My brother Tunde departed in a rather unexpected manner on Sunday 2nd March. Unlike the Israelites in the wilderness, we will rejoice and thank God for his mercies throughout his life, for his birth, his growth, his schooling, his marriage, his family, his children, his siblings and the great big "un-fillable" hole that his person, his generosity and his jovial self has inflicted in our lives. We call them fond memories and we thank God the Father for this and much more. We are a people with hope and with an eternal purpose. Not of ourselves but of Him who decided He would intentionally take our place at Calvary so that we would be welcome in the Mansion he has had prepared for us. All the glody to God then whose prerogative it is to call us home in His own time. Rest in peace my brother Tunde. We will be comforted, it is the promise in Mathew 5:4 and in faith we receive God's comfort from the shock of Sunday 2nd March. Let us all number our days and apply our hearts to wisdom for we do not choose when the Master will call. I love you and I will always miss you. Gbenga APAMPA
